Doragashi An-An
Light and soft, gently sweet
We are a small dorayaki shop in central Kumamoto, on the basement level (B1F) of SAKURA MACHI Kumamoto.
Dorayaki is a Japanese baked sweet. Red bean paste is sandwiched between two soft, fluffy pancakes.
Red bean paste, called anko, is made by simmering azuki beans with sugar.

Our dorayaki

Light, fluffy pancakesMany dorayaki have dense, moist pancakes. At An-An, we bake ours soft and light. We whip the eggs carefully so that the batter holds plenty of air.

A petite, easy-to-eat sizeEach one fits in the palm of your hand. Young children and older adults alike can finish a whole one and enjoy every bite.
Ingredients from KumamotoThe wheat flour and the rice flour are from Kumamoto Prefecture. The batter is made with akazake, a traditional Kumamoto sake, from a long-established local brewery.
